Big Game Experience Bootgate
Sunday, January 9th 2011 was our final "Bootgate" event at M.o.O. Despite the cold weather football fans came out to watch the games, enjoy some excellent vittles, and win some prizes! Cars were backed up in our service drive/party patio and people were showing off their team spirit in all kinds of different ways. We had an air hockey tournament and a nail-biting to-the-end Cornhole championship! Everyone who test drove the awesome new MINI Countryman and won the games were given raffle tickets for the day’s giveaways. Some of the items raffled off were really cool MINI luggage, a custom M.o.O. football jersey, a flat panel TV, custom MINI of Ontario cornhole game set, and a PRICELESS MINI "Big Game Experience" package! This crazy MINI adventure included two tickets to the big game, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and access to all sorts of MINI VIP events! Winner of the Big Game Experience, Caylin was frozen, in certain disbelief for a short period of time, but is super excited about going to the big game in Texas! Many thanks to everyone who braved the elements to spend another fun Sunday at M.o.O.!

MINI of Ontario held its first Bootgating event Sunday, November 7th. The weather was a little chilly but fans brought team sweatshirts and blankets to keep the bootgate spirit going. Football fans from far and wide came to root for the Vikings, Dolphins, Chargers and Raiders, heck we even had a USC Trojan fan in the house. Congratulations to Joe R., Chris C. and Ed P. for top scores in the football toss into the back of a MINI. And we must not forget about Katey W. who led in most footballs to fly over the MINI.
Once again, Connie was in charge of the barbeque and grilled our lunch to perfection, thanks Connie! With chips, dips, salsas, candies and other goodies bootgaters were sure to find something to snack on. Watch your email for an invitation to M.o.O. Bootgate No. 2. Get your folding chairs, team jerseys and best bootgating dish ready for our next event! We are thinking about a Monday Night bootgate, any suggestions? Let us know. kwest@miniofontario.com
It's not the World Cup, but for us at MINI of Ontario it is a far greater honor. MINI USA recently named MINI of Ontario as the 1st Quarter winner of the prestigious MINI Motoring Cup for the Western Region. Only one dealership per region receives this coveted honor. The MINI Motoring Cup Awards MINI dealers with this distinction for highest CSI score and best business practice in regard to customer care. MINI of Ontario's scores were the highest of all 26 dealerships in the Western Region. Only the top dealer in the region to exceed in both of these categories as well as those who excel in MINI parts and accessories sales can earn this coveted Cup. Parts Manager, Colin Benham; Service Manager, Eric Hall; and Sales Manager Dan Garcia, of MINI of Ontario are all extremely proud to display the motoring cup trophy for all customers and staff to see. " As a team, we embrace our store’s mission statement and our efforts have been rewarded with this great distinction. We are very proud to have the cup on display to remind everyone what a remarkable job they have done this past quarter", says Parts Manager Colin Benham.
